With our extensive experience in employment and civil rights law, we can guide employers and employees through the complex landscape of federal and state regulation of the employment relationship. Our goal at Reisman Carolla Gran is to achieve positive results for our clients without having them engage in costly and long-lasting legal battles.  With appropriate guidance and a proactive approach to counseling, we attempt to handle disputes at the earliest stage possible.

We have experience representing clients in claims in state and federal court and before various federal and state administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Department of Labor, Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, New Jersey Office of Administrative Law, including:

Claims arising under various federal labor and employment laws, such as claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Equal Pay Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Family Medical Leave Act and state law analogs to these federal laws; and Claims arising under state whistleblower protection laws, common law wrongful discharge actions and other employment-related litigation.

We also have experience in areas outside of litigation, including assisting with negotiation and drafting of employment contracts, reviewing current employment policies and drafting and updating employee handbooks.
